I just remembered. More than one time in elementary school, I called my teacher “Mommy.” It was weird. I remember stopping and just thinking, “Jeez, why’d I do that?”
And then my teacher would laugh.

you know, i'm actually surprised at how many people do that. I never heard it happen...or at least, I don't remember it every happening.
